After changing your password via the self-service portal, your laptop login will continue to use the old password until you carry out the following steps. If you change your password at home, the following will only occur when your device is reconnected to the RGS WiFi.
Step 1: Click the Apple in the top left corner and then Logout.
Step 2: Login using your new password. The following message will pop up. Click Update Keychain Password.
Step 3: Enter your previous password and click OK.
If after completing the above steps you receive a message similar to the one below. The keychains may not have reset the password. If this occurs, please follow the steps below.
Manual reset of the Keychain.
Step 1: Open a finder window, click Applications then utilities then Keychain access.
Step 2: Click Edit then Change password for Keychain 'login'
Step 3: Enter the old password and your new password. Click OK.
